Begin the day around 08:30 for a departure for the Temple of Literature: Vietnam’s first university. Founded in 1076, Quoc Tu Giam was established within a temple to educate Vietnam's royalty, mandarins and members of the elite.
Continue next to the iconic One Pillar Pagoda, founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049. Nearby is the mausoleum of the historic figure and father of modern Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh (viewed from outside; closed Mon and Fri and from Oct-Nov) and his modest house on stilts.
Next head on towards the picturesque West Lake and the sixth century Tran Quoc Buddhist Pagoda. From here transfer (or stroll along the lakeside) 700 meters to the nearby Taoist temple of Quan Thanh which is dedicated to Tran Vu, one of the principal deities in Taoism.
Lunch with Hanoian specialty cuisine of “Cha Ca” in the old quarter under the guide of the skillful and helpful chef to make sure that you can enjoy the Cha Ca like the way Hanoian does.
In the afternoon, visit the fascinating Ethnology Museum, which is both a research centre and a public museum exhibiting the ethnic groups of Vietnam.
Wrap up the day with a visit to Hanoi’s Old Quarter also known as the ‘36 streets’. Take a walking tour through charming Hang Be Market and around Hoan Kiem Lake, a bustling area home to literally thousands of small businesses and shopkeepers.
Mid evening proceed to Hanoi Train Station for the night train to Lao Cai.
Overnight on the train in a soft sleeper compartment.
Upon arrival to the border town of Lao Cai, transfer to a nearby restaurant for breakfast.
Then, taking off to visit a local market (Coc Ly on Tuesday/ Cao Son on Wednesday/ Lung Khau Nhin on Thursday / Can Cau on Saturday/ Bac Ha on Sunday.)

This market will be home to mostly Flower Hmong, however Phu La, Black Dao, Tay, Nung hill tribe groups also gather here. The market offers a variety of local products, many of which are found nowhere else in the region. Of particular interest is the animal market here, selling everything from pot-bellied pigs and cows to buffaloes.
Transfer to a local house for nice lunch.
Continue the tour with a short walk to a hill-tribe village. Here there will be the opportunity to visit some local homes for some unique insight into the daily life of these tribes as well as their culture and traditions. Afterwards, head back to Sapa.

A short journey of 20 minutes by car takes you to Muong Hoa valley, one of the most beautiful valleys in northwest Viet Nam.Descending into the valley by foot you will see the largest terraced rice paddy in the Sa Pa area (If you visit the valley between May and October, there is a chance to experience and observe how the locals plant and harvest rice). The walk takes you from Lao Chai village of the Black H'mong minority to Ta Van village of the Zay minority, providing the opportunity to see the different traditions and costumes of the two ethnic minority groups. Return to Sa Pa by car.
Enjoy lunch at your hotel in Sapa.
Free time to go shopping for some ethnic souvenirs before taking car transfer at 3PM from your hotel back to your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter.

From 7.30 to 08.10, our van will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter and transfer to Ha Long Bay. You will reach the harbor after 3,5 hours with 10 minutes break on the way.
Then, embark on cruise and enjoy welcome drink as Cruise Manager gives you a brief overview of the itinerary and important safety guideline. Check in your cabin. Start sailing among famous Islets (Indochina studio, Am Islet…) of Bai Tu Long Bay, the wildest beauty with the panoramic natural views.
Admire the grace of the bay while enjoying the delicious lunch in the restaurant at the first deck.
In the afternoon, explore the well-hidden Co Cave (known as Thien Canh Son Cave). Enjoy relaxing on white sandy beach, walking along the beach or swimming at Hon Co Island.
Treasure the wonderful beauty of Bai Tu Long Bay at sunset, admire the striking islands and islets, savor the fresh and peaceful atmosphere which could hardly be found in land While cruising to Cong Do sleeping area.
Dinner is served in the restaurant at the first desk. You can enjoy the charm of Bai Tu Long Bay at night.

Welcome a new day with an amazing dawn on Bai Tu Long Bay. Refresh your body and soul with a Tai-chi session on the sundeck.
Catch the morning view of seascap while enjoying the breakfast with cookies and tea, café in the restaurant.
Tour day will start with a visit to VungVieng village. Vung Vieng is located in the heart of Bai Tu Long Bay, 24 km from the mainland. You will not only be immersed in the quiet and peaceful location viewing the charming landscape, and discovering the cultural life of the fishermen but also will be instructed in the fine arts of sailing and casting fish nets.
Back to the cruise for packing and after check out, you will enjoy a light lunch while the cruise sail back to the harbor. At 12, the van will bring you from Ha Long Bay back to your hotel in Hanoi.
