In the morning, we’ll transfer out of Hanoi to Ninh Binh Province (2.5 hrs). Then, we will visit Hoa Lu, the historic capital of Vietnam and the famous ancient temples of the two emperor heroes of Dinh and Le.
Afterward, cycling to the picturesque, peaceful roads of the rural villages, panoramic paddy rice fields, windy silk rivers and rocky outcrops to Tam Coc for lunch.
After lunch, cycling on country roads until reach Sunny Wharf, a small dock to board a sampan boat for a journey in the heart of “Inland Ha Long Bay”.
The short boat ride will take us along the Ngo Dong River through a scenic landscape dominated by rice fields and karst towers. The route includes floating through three natural caves (Hang Ca, Hang Hai, and Hang Ba), the largest of which is 125m long with its ceiling about 2m high above the water.
Stop for a short rest near a small shrine before returning to the boat to make our way back to the dock and board the bus back to Hanoi at your hotel step door.
